Maile Dekheko Darbar by Bibek Kumar Shah
Maile Dekheko Darbar (मैले देखेको दरबार) -- The Palace that I saw) by Bibek Shah, is a book by retired senior army official of Nepal who worked for many years in royal Nepal palace. The Author was unceremoniously sacked by the then ambitious Nepal King Gyanendra one fine morning after asking his resignation.
The book is not any milestone in Nepali literature. The author also does not belong to any literary background. Therefore, the book should be understood as his memoir of the events which he saw while being at the duty and which he could make note of in his diary. The events are mostly based on his memory while being at royal duty and during his four years' tenure of military secretary of the royal palace.
The book starts with the events leading to his resignation. However, it is not clear to him why his resignation was asked by Nepal's Last King Gyanendra Shah. The reason might be that King Gyanendra Shah did not appreciate very straight nature of Mr Bibek Shah that he could call 'Spade' a Spade. Most probably, King Gyanendra Shah thought Mr Bibek Shah was uncooperative on the way of king's ambition of becoming a King "who can see and hear things".

Seto Dharti by Amar Neupane
Seto Dharti is a novel written by Amar Neupane. It received Madan Puraskar, which is the biggest literary award in context of Nepal. This book was first released in March 2012, rapidly becoming a best seller inside the country. The language of this book is in native Nepali. This book reveals the bitter reality of Nepalese society. This is a painful story of a widow (child widow).
The story is based on the life of a girl named Tara ( meaning: Stars ). She is a simple girl living in her village spending her time playing with other children of same village. While the story goes on, she gets married at the age of seven, the very age at which she does not even understand the meaning of marriage.
Tara's husband has to go for his studies to Banaras where he dies and Tara is bound to live her life as a child widow. The story continues and many difficulties come one by one in Tara's life. She comes back from her husband's home to her father's home. She tries to live her life peacefully trying to forget all the pain that life gave her when she was a young child. Later on, her mother dies and she has to take over all the responsibilities of the house.
At her adult age she leaves her father's house and moves to Devghat, a religious place for Hindus. There she makes a small hut and starts to live a long, boring life. The story mainly tries to reveal the terrible cultural practice, in the name of religion, called child marriage. This story also portrays the pain of a child widow living her whole life without company.

Saya is a Nepali novel written by Subin Bhattarai and published by Fine Print in 2014 as a sequel to Summer love.
Bhattarai's third book and second novel, the plot concern how the misunderstanding in Summer love cleared and how they convince their family. It was the best selling book in Nepal and it was reprinted in the same month August and was one of the best-selling books in the country for the year. The book was launched by actresses Garima Panta and Keki Adhikari, and author Bhattarai himself at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi where there were thousands of fans.
It is the sequel of summer love. It is based on point of view of narrator, Atit, Saya and Susmita. According to the story, the narrator takes the responsibility to mend the things between Atit and Saya.
